just came back from camp ytd afternoon...its called comfirmation camp and its in malaysia. its organised by the church and all con 2 (sec 2)have to attend lah.
i have to reach church by 7am and then the bus pick us up to tuas checkpoint and then to a place called majodi centre in JB. its a 2 hr journey...very tiring. when we (which includes abt 100 students)reach there we went to check out ur doms...(its a 3 day 2 night camp)its a very big room with bunk beds around the wall. i sleep at one bunk bed...on top... next to the bathroom.(very big bathroom abt 12 showering... erm... what to u call that...place lah)in the middle to the room here are a few matresses where some of the boys will later taupok each other there...
we were then grouped, my group name is 'jars of clay' (i dunno why isit called that, our facils chose one) then we had a few activities lah, like games. i seriously hate 'wet mathematics' its like 2 groups come togeter in a circle then the facil will tell us to recite the multiples of sth if we are wrong we will get dunked. i was the first one to get dunked but it was wierd... she ask for the multiples of four then we go in a circle lah, 1st person say 4 then 2nd person say 8 then 12 then 16 then when its my turn i say 20 budden i got wet -.- later she asked many other wierd qn like square root 42 just for the sake of dunking others. -.-
our meals are very good, its rice and dishes for lunch and dinner (every time its always one veg, one meat, one fried fish, one fruit and one sth else) budden i like it lah esp the chicken curry, breakfast on the 2nd day is bread and sausages and fried egg, and the 3rd day is roti prata... of course got curry, budden dunno if its last night leftover the curry.
we also have praise and worship (singing) and i love it. at night we also have activities like night walk. we have to blindfold ourselves and the facils will bring u to different stations. we have to hold the shoulders of the ppl in front of us as we move to the stations or we cant see, its all abt god lah...the stations. one station is like we have to hold and follw the rafi string budden its like a maze cause the rafia string will split and we have to between 2 paths untile we finished... we were blind folded for like 3 hrs.
everytime we got a chance to get back to the doms the boys will taupok each other... the facils dun care. actually they join in... budden i never. i watch from the safety of my bed. the facils are like not ever twice our age and are from uni so they are like similar to us.
on the last day we had our last activity.. its like there is a big rectngular 'lake' and in the middle there is an 'island of pardise' and every group have to cross the lake to there with the only things we got(3 chairs, 1 rafia string, and many water bombs)and we cannot fall into the 'lake'. so we showed somw team work. since our class is divided into 2 groups we combine our chairs and got 6 now so everyone can cross. however, we realised that the paradise is not like a paradise, more of a bullseye cause other mischievous group begin throwing water bombs and the are like raining from the sky. they targeted the girls and the facils, they also use buckets of water to splash water at all those in the 'island' and also the facils and its was like so fun. luckliy i was not very wet just a little. lol so fun after that we changed and go home lah...by causeway...-.-
