Ok. the first thing i wanna to with this post is not to write '...'. i do that like all the times. Anyway, i actually wanted to talk about the physics test and hangman..but today's English lesson stood out and its like a must tell.
Ok.so basically, Mr. Yeo went into the class and the class was like 'Ohh Shyt' cause i think that many ppl knew he was such a pain in the neck. well, its true. I mean he just walk up to yiren and like reprimanded him for talking...then its like he gave a like 30min lecture on how concetrate in work and not like 一心二用. LOL. it gave me the impression that has never multi-tasked in his entire life, even in this fast paced society. During his Lecture, he told many ppl to stand up just because they weren't paying attention and asked them to repeat everything. He called yiren and yiren was trying to hold back his laughter, obviously didn't. Almost everyone was trying to hold back their laughter. LOL. i dunno why its funny but the teacher is so damn random, i cannot resist.
So we were basically afraid of him. then, he told us to do the vocab book and i was like oh shyt, cause i never bring. i tried to used the compre book to cover up and the teacher obviously noticed (He was like a stalker) then he was like talking to me in professor Snape's accent:
He:'Why arn't you doing that exercise, flip to the page and let me see'
Me:'I didn't bring the book.'
He:'So what are you implying? That you are unable to pack your back or read the timetable?'
Me:'Erm..ya'
He:'Next time better bring!'
LOL. I was like 'God pls help me!' when he approached me. My prayer was answered lah cause i was unharmed. btw. this isn't what the real conversation is. i was pretty freaked out so i didn't really remember. anyway. he made me feel very frustated cause his teaching methods are too 'old school' and boring. he also tried teaching english even when he is a chinese teacher. then, yiren was like saying '下课了!' 3 times which made the teacher very frustrated.
I mean like the teacher dun even allow us to talk. and the classroom became an examination hall. then he was like asking ppl to stand. thats pretty much what they do in the 60s-70s but in the 21st century, things are different. So this is a list of thinks that won't work
Arguing with Student
Causing students to stand and repeat
Humiliation
Lectures
Saying 'Keep Quiet!'
Trying to be stern
etc..you should know.
anyway...i can't say that this is the worst teacher's i've met. Nor can i say that this is the best. I also can't say that he is unreasonalble or strict..he's just using the methods his teacher used to use on him to use on us...and it doesn't work...so to us, he is just like wasting our time. Somehow after this lesson, I really want Mrs Wong to come back. And I also felt that Mr Fong and Mr Chong is so much better. So treasure what you have now :)
