Have a really long and exhausting day today, 4 different tests and a few toher stuff packed in about 10+ hours in school.
Today is a wednesday and obviously i have Maths Olympiad training. Well, i don't really like starting the day off with complex sets notations and mind-boggling geometry and today i wasn't really able to concentrate.
After Flag raising was Chinese and we had to do this test. It was really really difficult, there are dozens of words that i've never even seen before and the questions were so difficult to answer. Its kinda pathetic if you have only one or two lines for a 6 mark question
Right after that, E.maths. Had this probabilty test. Wasn't difficult, managable. Phew.
We then had our actual Chemistry SPA. it went pretty smoothly and i didn't have problems with the bunsen burner yay. However, i have this gut feeling that i was marked down for my skill 1.1 I don't know.
Social studies came after our SPA and Mr Ong continued entertaining us with his stories. I'm not sure if its a good or a bad thing. But, it does help us forget about our SPA.
Physics lesson was after lunch. For the first time (I think) i was really restless and tired during physics. Long day. Felt like falling alseep.
Right after physics was our oral examinations. While waiting i did some physics worksheet even though i was exhausted, and talked to my friends about random stuff.
Well, Mrs Wong said that my Oral was overall GOOD. Yay. Espcially the Reading aloud and the Conversation. She said that my reading aloud was at the peak of band 2 which is 9 out of 12 marks i guess. Pronounciation, tone, expressiveness were good except for one mispronounciation. I read 'troubles' with a 'th'. LOL. I could have gotten higher marks if i had more variation in tone in the non-dialogue sentences.
I was abit confused with the picture discussion as i thought that the teacher would just ask us to explain the picture but Mrs Wong started by asking me what a particular adult is doing. So i started by describing that man and neglected about introducing the scene bafore focusing my attention of the adult. So i lost marks there.
Conversation was pretty much well done. To my surprise. The first question was about recalling an outdoor learning experience. I talked about my leadership camp and stressed the importance of 'teamwork'. That gave me sort of a boost in my grades. yay. The second question is about choosing between living in rural and urban. and also the problems living in urban areas. Quite good lah, according to mrs wong but possible to say more stuff.
Anyway. Its over and i'm quite satisfied that i did well for this :)
