So, i woke up at 5.30am and tried to force myself to sleep, however, insomnia kicked in and it worsened when it started to rain. The patter of rain on the roof and awnings outside were annoying.
Eventually I gave up and turned to my clock, it read 7am. wow. how time flys. So i just stayed in my bed. Reading books, doing little bedroom exercises to freshen myself up. Then i went down for breakfast.
About 10.15am Me, my mom and my two sis left the house to meet my aunt and cousins. My aunt wanted to treat us to a japanese buffet restaurant in somerset 313. I was the only guy there but i didn't mind. I'm used to it anyway...i don't have many male cousins.
Took a train to somerset before we walked to the mall, and let me tell you this, Orchard Road FLOODED! and it was right in front of our path. It was about 1/2 foot deep. Fortunately it was the morning, about 11.30am. So there weren't many cars.
Sorry abit blur. Was holding an umbrella when i took it.
We had a hard time going around it as the junction was flooded and we had to jaywalk and stuff just to get across.
OK. Buffet!! The restaurant is called KISEKI japanese buffet restaurant. It was quite big with many stuff and it actually relatively cheap. Adult $19.80 for lunch. I ate almost 70% of the variety of food there, so i wasn't wasting the money.
My sisters and cousins were like taking picture of every food we eat. LOL. Just like some of my other friends. I didn't. So i can't post anything up here. Sorry.
After that SHOPPING. ok, i'm not an avid shopper. I only shop once in a while. It was freakingly tiring. Today is probably my record day, the longest time i spent in the mall. Went to ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura, and an impropmtu visit to tampines mall on the way back. At least I did buy some new clothes and run some errands.
I don't really want to go into details cause there ain't much to talk about shopping. So everything ended like 8.30pm. wow. My legs were on the verge of collapsing.
So, i was really a fun day. Being able to go to the city and then expand my 'closet' , eat BUFFET!!
