Ok I woke up today feeling an irritation on my throat - first sign of coughing. The sore throat i had has pretty much gone but the runny nose still persisted, although not as bad as yesterday. Haiz, its kinda of a heaty flu...they one you get when you get too heaty.
I can't stand the weather....one minute hot, one minute rain. So unpredictable, although the weather forecast stated that there will be heavy rain till sunday.
Took some non-drowsy pills and cough medicine before i hopped into the car. The traffic jam was terrible. Reached school 'just in time'. But the staircases to the hall were closed by the shutters...so i thought flag raising was held in the classrooms and headed there. I saw janet and liting and we walked around the school aimlessly, trying to find where the rest of the school is. Eventually the flag raising ceremony was in the hall and we got there in the nick of time
After the reading period, it was social studies and our classroom was freezing cold for some strange reason. Isit me or is there something wrong with the thermistor in that air-conditioning unit. The weather's cold enough with all the rain and we have to suffer more in that 'refrigerator'. Ok. I wasn't the only one who is falling sick. A few others were also showing symtoms of flu too. Hot N'Cold weather, mixed with freezing air-con....disaster.
Had an amaths test before recess. I didn't heally know how to prove stuff. Especially when i have to deal with intercept theorem. Haiz....plane geometry is hard.
Recess. Lost my appetite. Ate only a little. English was after recess and surprisingly this is the lesson i paid most attention to for today. I think Mdm Yanti is a great teacher :)
E.maths. Had another test. But this time is was much easier and it wasn't really a problem.
I can't really describe how i feel for biology lesson. Its a mixed feeling but mostly infuriating. We arrive at the lab late....and we had to compensate for the time we had wasted. This eats into lunch break. Grr.
Only had 10mins for lunch and i shoved down a burger. Wasn't full but we have to rush back to class for our geog test. The school really ruined our meal schedule. I mean recess at 11am....isit considered brunch or lunch already??? Furthermore, we end school at 2.30pm which is almost teabreak. Everytime i reach home from school is already close to 4pm and thats usually when i eat my lunch.
The school should also change its menu...it gets more and more unappetising seeing the same old food again and again.
Geog test was quite bad. I didn't really study so i 'smoked' the whole thing, coming up with my own answer. I wrote as fast as i can but halfway through my hand just gave way and started to ache. Then, my wrist and hand suffered a muscle cramp, i couldn't move my fingers and struggled to complete the paper with only the movements of my elbow and shoulder.
After the paper i had this terrible gastric pain. Its like some monster is eating my gut from the inside out. Must be due my hasty lunch. It feels like my glycogen reserves have severly depleted. God was on my side on the way home, didn't have to wait for both my buses. At home, my mom cooked me a big bowl of instant noodles and the pain vanished.
Well thats pretty much my day. Falling sick, being starved, snowed under by tests...
