I seriously need to get 'California Gurls' out of my head. Its far too catchy.
Celebrated Liting's birthday at Kbox. Where sang quite a no. of songs. Even 'California Gurls'....TWICE!! I'm not a fan of jay chou so i'm pretty much at a lost when they sing his songs. Anyway it was nice....until the very end
We got the bill and we were shocked to see the $19.30 price for each person when its supposed to be around $13. By that time Genghao and Huijie had already left and there was only Liting Christon Janet Rashid and me left. So we asked the lady why the price so high. even with the GST and service charge the price would only be about $14
I asked whether she counted in the cake or drinks which were supposed to be free, but the said 'no'. Then she told us that it was the tidbits that was sitting unnoticed on the table. Each of the bowls of tidbits cost $7!!!
There were supposed four bowls of tidbits for the 7 people but only two were served. So we ask her if we can cancel the last two bowls but she said it is in the package and we die die must pay extra for that 4 bowls of crackers. So...no choice...we had to eat as much as possible. The crackers were refillable but they could have told us earlier....rather than us shoving down everthing in less than 20mins.
We ordered a refill for all 4 bowls and just munched down everything...c'mon $7 might as well eat more. So in total 5 of us at 8 bowls worth of crackers costing $28.
It was kinda terrible...cause janet and I are having cough and most probably we'll have a bad sore throat tmr. grr. I hate being cheated out of my money....i feel very insecure cause these kinda of things happen to me very easily.
$7 each. HAHA
Ok got home. did some chem workbook and listened to the radio, got 3 english channel to listen too 98.7, 92.8, 98.0. Two of them are doing song countdown.... then was it pure luck that two of them played 'California Gurls'? barely 20mins of each other. Also heard miley cyrus 'Can't be tamed' twice.
LOL....must focus on my studies the next few days. Bye
