Hey! Yesterday's Oral was TERRIBLE!!! OK, just joking. It was fine...just 'fine'. Well, when the teacher handed me the picture I was completely taken aback, because it was a picture where 4 women posed for a camera holding a balloon filled with writings. Thus, it makes it a whole lot difficult cause it is terribly difficult to decipher what they may be feeling.
I spent more than 2 minutes staring blank at the picture...the only thought that came to my mind was 'Wow, its so clear. It must taken by a HD camera'. What? So I just relate it to the passage (the passage was manageble) which talked about travelling around the world. I only prepared barely halfway when the time was up.
Well. The examiners were quite friendly, maybe only one was. The Chinese examiner made me feel at ease as she was gave me a smile as i sat down. The Indian examiner just nodded and said some greetings. She looks terribly cold from her expression.
The passage was read qquite smoothly...'quite' only. Stumbled at one of the paragraphs. The picture wasn't really well done. I didn't elaborate much and i didn't talk about the feelings of the women. However, i think that what i said was quite sufficient as both ladies nodded.
I had another surprise when they asked me my first conversation question. 'What makes you laugh'. The first thing that comes to my mind was sit-coms and i'm not really sure if its really a word. So i talked about sit-coms until i ran out of points and then had to carry on with plan B which was YIREN!! Tried my best to describe him but my description was totally different from who he really is. LOL, its doesn't really matter anyway.
The other two questions were much simpler. 'Describe a time when you worked as a group' and do you think that 'teenagers should travel abroad'. Both examiners looked very keen and interested and kept nodding. which is kinda of a good thing. phew.
As i left the exam hall, i met my friends who were at the canteen. Well, as usual i will complain about the oral exam despite how easy or difficult it is. Janet was terribly depressed as she totally flunked her oral exam. hiaz. Cheer up Janet!!! There's still paper one and two.
Got home. watched Glee as i missed the episode two days earlier. Then kinda did some maths with listening to 987FM top 20 countdown. Grrr. Taylor swift new single not on radio yet and Round and Round was only at 20th position -.-
