impossible is just a possibility

Gosh. I can't beleve just 6 days ago i finished my exams!! I think i spent alot of time frolicking away all the hours.

Well, Monday was cycling-at-the-park day
Tuesday was shopping day
Wednesday was stay-at-home-and-slack day (I forgot what i did that day)
Thursday was Movie day (Megamind - Quite an enjoyable film)
Friday was regretful-shopping day (My friends are cheap, sorry)
Saturday was frolicking-and-swimming-and-bowling-with-cousins day

Today is golf day and it is the first time I've played in about a year. I really liked golf to be honest but i'm not particularly good at it. You see, none of my parent play although some of my older cousins do. However, they are always busy with work and their personal lives that I seldom play with them.

[I promised i'd write this grandfather story after the 'O's]

Well, frankly I seldom go to the golf course (you can count the number of times i've been to the golf course with the fingers of one hand) despite playing golf for about 2-3 years. Thats because i need someone to keep me company when i go but nobody can.

At the beginning of last year, i was lucky to be enrolled in the OCC Junior golfer club thingy (I couldn't care less its full name) I though with that I can spend more time on the golf course but it wasn't so. We only go like once or twice a semester and everytime it was a competition (I was usually last) The other days we were just on the driving range smacking balls into the distance.

My friends there were nice but not particularly close...furthermore they had so much more practice than me and were so much better than I was. The instructors were mostly caucasians and they weren't really nice. Honestly, they do have a 'want-to-befriend-you' facade but to me they arn't as nice as i thought they would be. They seem reluctant to teach us (more specifically me). There were only like a few Asian instructors and by Jove they are really really nice to us.

I always dread the day when we go to the golf course. Cause i'll always screw up. I usually get more than double par and be at the last. Some of the others would be like 2 or 3 holes ahead and I would still be struggling at the first. It really sucked cause the one and only time u get to go on the golf course it was a competition.

once, on the golf course, i was way behind and i had difficulty trying to hit the ball over the stream (probably 7 meters across) and one caucasian coach was with me. He was really frustrated because I hit two golf ball into the water. It was really embarrassing, seeing the look in his impatient eyes. But come on I'm suffering more than him...I feel humiliated and I lost two of my own golf balls (they're a gift) knowing they'll never return. Finally, I managed to get one across and then he took off faster than I can say 'Yes!'. Apparantly he went to join the ones ahead of the group.

In the end i quit cause i knew i was gonna be kicked out either. So I managed to save myself some dignity :)

Anyway, today was pretty good. my skills were the same as it was before. But my fingers weren't used to holding the club and now they are stingingly painful.

I also took a picture of a bird sitting in the grass, unafraid of me as i crept my way near it.

Before I go. I wanna say that I'm going to the golf course next weekend to get some practice. My dad's businesspartner is taking me with him. Yay! (I only enjoy the golf course when there ain't any instructors eyeing on me) I also wanna thank my cousin for giving me the BEST Christmas/Birthday present ever!! Whoohoo!!! February 9 here I come!!!

Bye!!
