Yesterday was pretty fun, I kind of enjoyed prom night!
Ok. Before i left for prom, I went to the salon. Got my hair trimmed and washed. Then the hairdresser straightened my fringe with a presser and gelled my hair. I kinda liked that hairstyle.
Got home to change...then waited for my dad to pick me up to prom. As i waited i started perspiring and moisture makes my hair curl back -.-
I was only of the first to arrive there, was pretty lonely. But luckily Isaac came. Then, some of the girls arrive and WOW i can't recognise them!! But in a good way. Makeup does make a difference.
Took quite a number of pictures and chatted before we entered the ballroom. I was famished by then. The food was pretty good. Aaron kept saying that the soup contains sharks fin but it really doesn't. The transparent thing inside were a type a chaep fungi made to look like sharks fin. I mean we only paid $75 we can't expect to have sharks fin soup.
It was really fun to watch janet eat her dinner...and see her reaction to the noisy rock songs. I don't know why they wanna play so many rock/metal songs and only like a small handful of pop music...like those songs with a slower tempo.
Then, there was a game called guess the song and then isaac guessed it but he had to rush up to the stage to answer as another person across the room also wants to answer. In the end they both had an epic fall and i was pretty hilarious. Christon kept on laughing for the next 15mins or so for some strange reason.
Towards the end there was a performance by Alvin (the emcee) and his band. They played rock songs. I didn't particularly enjoyed it (Cause i only like pop) but its kinda good that they had the courage to perform.
Well, when the prom ended my parents sent Rashid, Junjie, Yiren and Christon to the nearest MRT station. Its kinda amazing how 5 people can squeeze into the back seat of my car!!
Got home, washed off the gel and my hair and it was back to normal :(
ok i gotta go. I'm hitting the golf course...hope its gonna be fun!!
