Ok. I went shopping toda6y. Yes Shopping. 6 hours. Gosh it was exhausting!!
Well, I went with my Mom and my sisters all the way to the city. It was this or staying at home with nothing but a biology textbook in front of my face. So i went. It was bittersweet. The first shop we went was the Raffles' City Mall Esprit. Gosh!! I saw a lot of nice clothes but my smile turned into a frown when i saw the price tag. $100 for a shirt?? Gosh.
Well the stuff at Raffles' is expensive so after lunch, we went suntec city. There was an anime convention and i saw many people dressed up as anime characters. However, i'm not interested in anime so I didn't go to the convention. Instead i found a really nice teen clothing store where a bought a really nice button up shirt for a reasonable price.
Then we passed by a CD store and i bought SPEAK NOW & A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN!!! Well, its 3 albums for $49.90 and it too me a very long time to choose the last album. Like all i want is Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez album. In the end i chose Glee.
Went Tampines 1 after that cause we can't stand the rediculously priced clothing at most of the shops in the city. Bought a new pair of sneakers and then i chanced upon a really nice shop selling formal vests (i may need it for prom) It was really nice!!! They sell those attire you see the Korean men wear for those Korean drama (not that i watch these drama) However, i saw the price and i was really lost for words. $70 for one vest!! Why do expensive things have to be so nice andd tempting
Ok we went home after that cause we've been walking for 6 hours already. Well, i still need some clothes for prom..like a tie and a vest if i can one resonably priced. I'm not sure about a blazer cause they usually cost more than $150.
I think i've changed my perspection about shopping. My hatred for shopping sparked off when i was in my lower secondary. Then, my wardrobe was really small because i can't find any clothes my size. If i go to the adult clothing store my size was too small and if i go to the 'Kiddy' section i'm too big (rediculously embarrassing too)
But now i'm ok with shopping. Gosh its really a good exercise. I think those spendtrifts are really fit.
