impossible is just a possibility
Tuesday, February 1, 2011 @ Solstice
I named the title of this post Solstice because today was officially the longest day of my orientation. I reached school at 6.45am to do a rehearsal for the o-night performance, unfortunately not eveyone turned up and we spent too much time waiting for the others to arrive. So we didn't get much practice in the end.

The start of the orientation day was the same as all other says. Lots and Lots of cheering. Then, we had some videos and performances of the various PDPs. Still dunno what PDP to choose sia.

We had Amazing Race after that. My group went to the CBD which was pretty cool but it was tougher trying to find our way around. Our first task was called 'Guess the Song'. Where we were split further into two groups and each group has a volunteer to listen (through earpiece) and la-la-la the song out at the same time. Then the others will guess as many songs within the time limit.

I volunteered to be the one singing. And i popped in the earpiece and the station master pressed play. Then the first songs was LIKE BABY! BABY! BABY! OHHH! LIKE BABY! BABY! BABY! NOOOO!. I was pissed off, but i had to la-la-la it out anyway. Good thing my teammates were good, put me out of my misery very quickly. The next few songs were pretty ok, i've heard all of them at least once before. No taylor swift songs, so sad. But anyway, i think we did really well on that.

Curse you Justin Bieber! 'Baby' was stuck in my head the rest of the day!

Played charades in another station and twister in another. It was pretty ironic once that we went to the national library to cheer because we weren't allowed to cheer in residential areas. Met alot of Meridian Groups who were doing their amazing race on the same day. Rushed back to school after a hasty lunch.

After that we had our Audition for the o-night performance where the 4 different OG from the Kratos clan perform and the best will proceed to perform in o-night. Our OG was so under-prepared cause we only rehearsed for 3 hours. but we did our very best :D competition was stiff because the other teams had pretty good preformances and dances. However, in the end, and to our surprise, we WON!! Hehe! We were supposedly the most prepared of them all (LOL?) and supposedly the 'cleanest' of them all. Butt-scoops are banned for o-night. LOL!

Mass dance was next, dance to Dhoom, a bollywood song. It was also a couple dance. It was really fun, but difficult. The steps get more and more confusing and we had to crash course it in less than one hour. So i was either doing the wrongs moves or doing mirror-image, or lag like crazy. But it was fun!!

We had more dancing after the mass dance, as we rehearsed the performance again and again and add in more dance moves. It was fun but we didn't really show it cause we were extremely exhausted.

After that, some of us had dinner with our OGLs. It took us 30mins pondering over what to eat and eventually decided to eat at the opposite hawker centre. LOL?! The OLGs taught us how to play a new game which i apparently forgotten the name for some strange reason. It was as confusing as the Dhoom dance but i think i got the hang of it.

Took bus and mrt home and chit chat with my new friends along the way. Hehe, then i met Jabrina at the 403 bus queue and we chit chat somemore. Its kinda cool that i had company the entire way home!

So here i am, typing this while half awake. It was too fun a day and i really wanna share this, so forced myself to blog although i soo wanna sleep.

ok bye. gdnight!!
